What you can and cannot judge from a photograph

Sheets are consistent, scraps are not
A pre-cut panel arrives the size stated. A remnant bundle is sold by weight or area and the pieces differ; that is the point of buying it.
Veg-tan tools, chrome-tan does not
Vegetable-tanned leather takes stamping and carving. Chrome-tanned is softer and better for bags and linings. The material line says which one you are getting.
Thickness is in ounces
One ounce is roughly 0.4 mm. Where the maker states a weight, it is in the specifications; where they do not, we do not guess it.

    How long will my order take?

    At Global Leathers the picking takes 1–2 business days and carriage another 3–7, which is 4–9 business days door to door for most of the country.
