Most leather is smooth but we do include, if available, some hair on hide and alligator embossed leather. If you are wanting to make sure you get embossed or hair on hide see our listings below.

Crafted from premium full-grain, top-grain, or suede, leather, our scrap pieces are durable and feature various textures and a rich choice of colors that will add a touch of sophistication to any project. The pictures show most of the colors you can expect to receive.
The thickness varies from 4 oz (1/16") to 8 oz (1/8"). Most are 5 oz (5/64") to 7 oz (7/64"). The colors in the bag are random. The sizes vary from 6" x 8” to 12" x 14” on average. They are irregularly shaped.
